February 14 – Arrival in Gran Canaria
Arrival in Gran Canaria and check-in at the Barceló Margaritas in Maspalomas. This first day is dedicated to settling in, preparing the bikes and getting ready for the first rides.

February 15 – Maspalomas – Fataga – Santa Lucía – Maspalomas
A beautiful first ride through the landscapes of southern Gran Canaria, combining deep valleys, traditional villages and panoramic mountain roads.

February 16 – Maspalomas – Soria – Ayacata – Maspalomas
A more mountainous stage heading into the interior of the island, with long steady climbs, wild landscapes and spectacular roads.

February 17 – Maspalomas – Agaete
A hotel-to-hotel cycling stage towards the north-west of Gran Canaria. A true point-to-point journey across the island while your luggage is transferred directly to Barceló Roca Negra in Agaete.

February 18 – Agaete – Tamadaba – Agaete
A superb loop through the wild north-west of Gran Canaria, combining mountainous terrain, Canarian pine forests, quiet roads and impressive Atlantic views.

February 19 – Ferry crossing to Tenerife
Rest day from cycling. Ferry crossing from Gran Canaria to Tenerife followed by a transfer to Costa Adeje and check-in at Ramada Residences by Wyndham Costa Adeje.

February 20 – Costa Adeje – Las Galletas – El Médano – Granadilla – Costa Adeje
A varied ride through southern Tenerife, combining coastal roads, inland villages and open views over the Atlantic.

February 21 – Costa Adeje – Guía de Isora – Chío – Costa Adeje
A ride through western Tenerife, gradually climbing towards Guía de Isora and Chío through volcanic landscapes and panoramic roads.

February 22 – Costa Adeje – Guía de Isora – Abama
The second hotel-to-hotel cycling stage. A progressive route leaving the southern coast and heading towards the Abama area while your luggage is transferred to Las Terrazas de Abama Suites.

February 23 – Abama – Guía de Isora – Chío – Teide National Park – Abama
The signature ride of the trip. A spectacular climb towards Teide National Park via Chío, through a unique volcanic landscape and some of the most impressive scenery in the Canary Islands.

February 24 – End of the trip
Transfer to the port in Tenerife and ferry crossing back to Gran Canaria.

Level

Gran Canaria and Tenerife are best suited to cyclists with significant road cycling experience. The routes are more mountainous than those on Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, with several long climbs and days with over 1500m of elevation gain.

Daily distances generally vary between 58 and 88 km, with consistently challenging and sometimes demanding terrain. This trip is therefore not recommended for beginner cyclists using traditional bicycles. Good physical fitness, a certain comfort level with climbing, and experience in completing several consecutive days of cycling are strongly advised.

Each participant is free to ride at their own pace, and subgroups can naturally form based on skill level and objectives. A support vehicle accompanies the group to ensure safety, flexibility, and comfort throughout the trip.

The trip is also perfectly accessible by electric road bike (e-bike). This option allows cyclists who wish to reduce the physical demands of long climbs to fully enjoy the routes, while experiencing the same scenery and stages as the rest of the group.

On a traditional road bike, this trip is therefore more suitable for an intermediate to advanced level. On an e-bike, it becomes accessible to a wider range of cyclists who already have good cycling skills.

Ride between ocean, mountains and volcanic landscapes… This 10-night cycling holiday takes you across two of the most spectacular Canary Islands for road cycling: Gran Canaria, diverse and mountainous, followed by Tenerife, dominated by the impressive landscapes of Mount Teide.

Over 7 days of cycling, you will ride along carefully selected roads through deep valleys, mountain passes, traditional Canarian villages and breathtaking Atlantic viewpoints. Daily rides generally range from 60 to 85 km, with varied elevation gains reaching close to 2,000 m, making this trip ideal for intermediate to advanced road cyclists, whether riding a traditional road bike or an e-bike.

The journey begins in southern Gran Canaria, in Maspalomas, before continuing by bike to Agaete to discover the wilder and more mountainous north-western part of the island. A ferry crossing then takes you to Tenerife, where you will first stay in Costa Adeje before moving on to the Abama area. This second hotel change is also completed by bike, turning the transfer into a true cycling stage.

In Tenerife, the routes combine coastal roads, inland villages and iconic climbs, with one of the highlights being a ride towards Teide National Park via Chío, through one of the most striking volcanic landscapes in the Canary Islands.

You will stay in four carefully selected hotels in Maspalomas, Agaete, Costa Adeje and Abama. The trip includes ferry crossings, luggage transfers during hotel changes, a French-speaking cycling guide and a support vehicle so you can ride with complete peace of mind.

Gran Canaria

The routes combine long, steady climbs, panoramic roads, mountain villages and descents overlooking the Atlantic. The stages are more demanding than on the flatter islands of the archipelago, but every effort is rewarded with impressive views and an extraordinary variety of landscapes.

Along the way, you will also discover an authentic Canarian identity deeply rooted in the island’s inland villages, with simple and generous local cuisine, regional cheeses, traditional Canarian potatoes and flavours inspired by both the sea and the mountains.

Tenerife

Tenerife offers a spectacular cycling experience dominated by the silhouette of Mount Teide and by roads that rise from the Atlantic coastline to high-altitude volcanic landscapes within just a few kilometres.

From Costa Adeje and the island’s west coast, the routes combine balcony roads overlooking the ocean, traditional inland villages, long steady climbs and volcanic scenery. The variety of terrain makes it possible to alternate more flowing stages with demanding mountain rides, culminating in an unforgettable ascent towards Teide National Park.

The island is also defined by its contrasts: a relaxed seaside atmosphere along the coast, traditional villages higher in the mountains and almost otherworldly volcanic landscapes at altitude.

The experience continues at the table with papas arrugadas, mojo sauces, locally caught fish, Canarian cheeses and wines produced in Tenerife’s unique volcanic soils.
