DEPOSIT, FINAL PAYMENT, AND CANCELLATION TERMS

 

GROUP TRAVELS

A non-refundable deposit of 500 euros is required at the time of booking for a trip costing less than 2000 euros per person.
Deposit of 1000 euros per person required at the time of booking for a trip of 2000 euros and more.

90 days before departure:
Final payment required.

If you need to cancel your trip:
Up to 65 days before departure: 100% of the cost of the stay minus the deposit and management fees of 200 euros is refundable. Less than 65 days before departure, 100% of the cost of the stay is non-refundable. A credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.

The 50-euro processing fee is non-refundable at any time.
If the cancellation is due to a force majeure event such as: government announcement, lockdown, closure of air routes and borders: the deposit is refundable.

In the event that we are forced to cancel a trip due to a lack of registrations, all amounts paid (including the file opening fee) by the traveler will be refunded, without any further compensation.
We commit to informing travelers as soon as possible.

If one of the two passengers traveling together cancels their trip, the departing passenger will have to pay the supplement for single occupancy accommodation resulting from the cancellation.To inform us, a written notice must be sent to us.

 

The costs of the trip, following the traveler's cancellation for personal reasons, health issues, or political concerns (for example, a government recommendation to avoid traveling to a country for security reasons) are non-refundable.

For Tailor made trips
Itinerary development fee payable at the very beginning of the project.(non-refundable at any time).
Deposit of 500 euros for a stay of 2000 euros or less and 1000 euros for a stay of more than 2000 euros per person (non-refundable at any time).

MODIFICATIONS
Any modification to your reservation is not guaranteed and remains subject to availability at the time of your request.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive insurance that covers, in particular: cancellation, interruption, emergency medical care, and luggage.It is possible that you have a travel insurance policy or coverage on a credit card; it is important to check the terms of these to see if you are well protected.

PRICES
All prices indicated are in euros.
The prices indicated for our packages are based on double occupancy and include taxes (unless otherwise stated).
For all trips, a processing fee of 50 euros per person is required and added to the travel invoice. These fees are non-refundable at all times.

TWINNING
For group trips only, with or without air transport, pairing is possible but not guaranteed:
We will do everything in our power to offer same-gender or same-sex room sharing.At the time of booking, the traveler is placed on the waiting list until we find someone to offer the pairing.
If the traveler wishes to guarantee their place on the trip, they will have to pay the single occupancy supplement at the time of booking if no pairing is available; and it will be refunded to them if we, or the traveler themselves, find someone to share the room.

HEALTH
It is your responsibility to be healthy enough to undertake the chosen trip; it is your responsibility to consult your doctor before embarking on such a trip.Given the nature of our trips, the traveler must be aware that they may face certain risks inherent to hiking or cycling.He assumes them knowingly and releases Discover Costa Daurada SL from any liability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Discover Costa Daurada SL. sometimes acts as an intermediary between the various service providers involved in the creation of packages and cannot be held responsible for any delays or failures of the service providers.
Discover Costa Daurada SL., assumes no responsibility for material, bodily, or moral damages resulting from force majeure (strikes, war, weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns, terrorism, demonstrations, etc.)
Discover Costa Daurada SL., reserves the right to cancel or modify part of the trip or the entire trip for reasons of force majeure.
It is your responsibility to inform us or inform our service providers as soon as a problem arises, so that we can resolve it immediately or as quickly as possible.
Our liability is then limited to the cost of the trip paid.

In the event that the traveler exhibits behavior detrimental to other clients or service providers, the traveler may be expelled.

Discover Costa Daurada SL. holds a travel agency license from Catalonia and has the insurance required by the travel agency law.
