From the Mediterranean to the inland plains of Catalonia
The journey begins along the Mediterranean coast, where the sea creates a peaceful backdrop, before reaching the Ebro Delta, one of Catalonia’s most unique and distinctive landscapes. Here, the terrain becomes almost completely flat and the horizon seems endless.
The route then climbs into the spectacular Els Ports Natural Park, revealing wilder scenery of forests, dramatic rock formations and breathtaking viewpoints before joining the Via Verda de la Val de Zafán, a former railway line transformed into a scenic cycling route.
As the kilometres unfold, Priorat reveals its terraced vineyards and rugged mountains, while the region’s Cistercian monasteries bear witness to an exceptional cultural heritage.
