Information on cycling routes

Day 1 – Geneva → Aix-les-Bains
Meet at Geneva Airport at 12:00 p.m., transfer to Aix-les-Bains, hotel check-in, bike preparation and briefing.

Day 2 – Grand Colombier
First major cycling day with the ascent of Grand Colombier and a loop in the surrounding area. Transfer afterwards to Sallanches.

Day 3 – Cormet de Roselend
Discover the Beaufortain region and climb the spectacular Cormet de Roselend. Overnight in Les Arcs 1800.

Day 4 – Col de l’Iseran
Depart by bike directly from the hotel to reach Val-d’Isère and the legendary Col de l’Iseran.

Day 5 – Col de la Loze
A day dedicated to one of the most demanding and impressive climbs in the Alps.

Day 6 – Lacets de Montvernier & Col de la Madeleine
Two great classics of the Maurienne Valley, combining spectacular roads and Alpine scenery.

Day 7 – Télégraphe & Galibier
A legendary day featuring the back-to-back climbs of the Télégraphe and Galibier. Overnight in Bourg-d’Oisans.

Day 8 – Rest Day
Free day in Bourg-d’Oisans to recover before the second half of the trip.

Day 9 – Alpe d’Huez & Col de Sarenne
Depart directly by bike from the hotel to climb the famous 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez, with the option to continue to Col de Sarenne.

Day 10 – Col d’Izoard & Col Agnel
Two major climbs in the Hautes-Alpes, near the Italian border.

Day 11 – Col de la Bonette
Climb the highest point of the trip, followed by a transfer to Provence.

Day 12 – Mont Ventoux
The grand finale with the ascent of the legendary Mont Ventoux.

Day 13 – Sault → Marseille
Transfer to Marseille-Provence Airport. The departure time will be determined according to participants’ flight schedules.

If needed, each participant will have the option to shorten a ride, finish a day early or take an additional rest day thanks to the support vehicle and the very small group size.

Level

The French Alps are aimed at cyclists who already have a good amount of road cycling experience. The trip is decidedly mountainous, with long climbs, several legendary passes exceeding 2,000 meters in altitude and many days with more than 1,500 m of elevation gain, some even exceeding 2,000 m.

The distances aren't necessarily very long, but the terrain is consistently hilly and sometimes demanding. Therefore, this trip isn't recommended for beginner cyclists using a regular bicycle. Good physical condition, some comfort climbing, and experience cycling for several consecutive days are strongly advised.

However, the VIP format, limited to 6 participants, allows for great flexibility.

Each cyclist is free to ride at their own pace and can, if needed, shorten a ride, finish a day early, skip a climb, or take a full rest day. A support vehicle accompanies the group throughout the trip to ensure safety, comfort, and adaptability.

The trip is also perfectly accessible by electric road bike (e-bike). This option allows cyclists who might not be able to tackle all the major mountain passes on a regular bike to also experience the dream of the Alps, while enjoying the same roads, the same landscapes, and the same legendary peaks.

On a traditional road bike, this trip is therefore more suitable for an intermediate to advanced level. On an e-bike, it becomes accessible to a wider range of cyclists who already have a good command of road cycling.

The goal is not to break records, but to fully experience the great Alpine passes, each at their own pace.

There are cycling trips that are taken for the sake of riding. And there are others that are taken to fulfill a dream.

This exceptional trip takes you to the heart of the French Alps, on the roads that have shaped the history of cycling and the Tour de France. Grand Colombier, Cormet de Roselend, Col de l'Iseran, Col de la Loze, Madeleine, Télégraphe, Galibier, Alpe d'Huez, Izoard, Agnel, Bonette and Mont Ventoux: for almost two weeks, the legendary mountain passes follow one another in some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe.

But this adventure is not reserved solely for great climbers.

The trip can also be done by electric bike, allowing cyclists who have long dreamed of discovering these legendary roads to fully experience the Alps, without necessarily having the physical condition required to tackle all these passes on a regular bike.

Our goal is not competition. We want you to experience the Alps by bike, enjoy the scenery, savor the climbs and allow you to reach those peaks whose names make cyclists around the world dream.

A VIP experience – only 6 participants

We have deliberately limited this trip to a maximum of 6 participants.

This very small format allows us to offer personalized support, great flexibility and constant assistance throughout the stay.

Our support vehicle accompanies the group throughout the trip, transports luggage during hotel changes and allows us to adapt the days according to the fitness level, the weather or simply the desires of each individual.

Each participant is free to experience the trip at their own pace. It will always be possible to shorten a ride, finish a day early, skip a climb, or even take a full rest day if needed. The goal is for everyone to fully enjoy the experience, without pressure or obligation to complete all the planned kilometers.
